I direct to stitch memory, movement, and myth into spaces where something real can unfold and the unexpected prevails.
I come to directing as a Black, queer artist from New Orleans, having been raised on rhythm, ritual, and storytelling that refuses to die. That background shapes everything: how I listen, how I lead, and what I choose to make visible.
I approach every process asking these questions:
What truth are we chasing?
What’s been buried that’s ready to rise?
What is the magic of this world?

My process is one of deep care and huge risk. I build portals of magical realism that challenge traditional modes of theater, transforming both storytellers and audiences across identities. I’m not here to replicate what’s been done. I’m here to offer something that frees us, even if it’s just for a moment.
